Road To Europe (Part 2)

Hi, Assalammualaikum! J
We meet again here in virtual world! I’d like to remind you again that I HAVE NOT YET PURSUE MY STUDY IN UK. And the purposes of my entries were to INSPIRE, to SHARE and to INVITE YOU TO JOIN ME! This is really cool! If you guys out there having the same thought like me, please do not hesitate to contact me. Let’s surround ourselves with positivity! And move on! I’ll include my contact info at the end of this entry, okay?
As promised before in my previous entry, today’s entry is to tell you WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

  • Set your dream! (Dream mode : ON)
  • Seriously!  You need to dream. Make it happen! Make it achievable! Let people know and it will become a reminder for you. In my case, my friends are my reminder (Teehee!)

  •  Search for any university which suits you the most!
  • As for me, I’d like to pursue my study in University of Sheffield (say it out loud! It’s your dream!) You’ll have to consider your qualification and the university’s requirement. Some university sets a tough requirement for international student, so, we don’t want that to harden our effort to study abroad. As I said earlier, ACHIEVABLE! Because, we’re not only dreaming, we’re going to realize it! However, don’t just apply only one university, apply more! We’d never know where we will be accepted.  You can check many more universities here

  •  Maintain your study and achieve a good CGPA
  • I’m not a bright student, remember? I struggle few times to maintain my study and I still need to push it up a bit. Two semesters left, and I need to put my effort to the max! (Pray for me!) FYI, most universities in UK requires you to obtain at least 2:1 degree. So, what is 2:1 degree?? 2:1 degree is a benchmark to qualify you to further your master in UK. It is generally an UPPER SECOND CLASS DEGREE or SECOND CLASS DEGREE WITH HONOURS (Sound scary, isn’t it?) I don’t know whether Malaysia’s educational system follow America’s system or what, but according to America’s system, 2:1 degree equivalent to CGPA = 3.33 – 3.67. (Sounds less scary?) Whatever it is, maintain a good result for your own benefit and keep striving for the best!

  • Piggy bank!
  • Yezza! We’ll need to save our money A LOT! For what? For these :

a.       IELTS
b.      Visa / Passport
c.       Transportation to go for interview (Teehee!)
d.      Etc.

I think that’s all you need to know for the early preparation. You just need to keep motivate yourself and keep your ambitions straight. Dreams over dramas, guys!
In the next entry, I’m going to go deeper into university requirement and what you need to prepare. J

See ya!

Road to Europe [Part 1]

Hi, Assalammualaikum :)
It has been a long time since my last post (last year. teehee!) And here I am (again..) with my new upcoming and absolutely new stories to be written. Also, it’s 42 days after New Year. I’m aware of people setting up their new goals, ambitions, aims, aspirations and desires, but, I have not set any of them yet. I don’t know. My real celebration of New Year is on my birthday which will fall on February 25th, so as for that upcoming event of my life, I decided to stick to what I’ve been planning several years ago. I’ve been mentioning it few times in my earlier posts, mentioning in a lot through my mouth and mentioning it too much in my head.  Yup! Here goes the story of the title.

I was once called by MARA to attend an interview session to further my degree abroad.. .  Unfortunately, I was not chosen. Just because I nailed my first interview, it does not mean I cannot chase my dream again.  Instead of listening to what other people are commenting and judging, I soothe myself by believing that the time has not yet come to me.  Before you guys mistakenly thinking that I might have furthered my study in UK, this post aims to inspire people, to pray upon our wishes to come true and to gather our spirits to study abroad (teehee!) . In short, this particular post is to actually a spirit booster to all of us and as well as to guide you. (i may not be, let’s inspire each other, okay?)

So, I am now a final year student in a local university. A lot of things happened. I’ve been into it through ups and downs, through tears and laughter, and through sandy and muddy pathways. (Words can’t describe. Really!) Frankly speaking, I AM NOT A BRIGHT STUDENT. Seriously! I do not consider myself as a bright student. (because I really am not) There are a lot more students who are far better than me. I’m just an average student.  (with an  average degree life..) I am sure this is what you guys feel too, right?  So, how am I going to realize my dream to study in UK? I am going to tell you in the next post, okay? Because, this post is already too wordy to read (Teehee!)

In the next post, I’m gonna tell you what you need to know to pursue your study abroad and what you need to prepare. I have not yet applying any university in UK, but we’re going to this together, okay?
May the force be with ya!

“When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us.”
